Police General arrested for failing to appear in court as a witness

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) arrested a South African Police Service General on Tuesday morning for contempt of court after her alleged failure to appear in court as a witness.

IPID spokesperson Phaladi Shuping said the Major-General would be appearing in the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crime Court on Tuesday.
